			<description>HOT TUBS COOL CUSTOMERS

Summer is here and temperatures are rising in Cheltenham’s ‘The Place’ club on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July as management bring in two huge hot tubs!

For everyone that gets in the hot tub, staff will give them a free bottle of champagne to enjoy and really let off steam. The Place will be giving away loads of goodies on this night including beach balls and flip flops to really give the feel of a beach holiday.

General manager Sara Cottrell said: “This will be a great party with something a little bit different for everyone. Although the weather isn’t quite Ibiza, we need to make the most of what we’ve got and enjoy what summer we have. If people are looking for a place to party and have a great time, The Place is where it’s going to be.”

Entry is free on Friday before 1am and groups of five or more will get a free bottle of bubbly.

			<title>New Era for Elements!</title>
			<link>http://nightlife-clubbing-bars.vivastreet.co.uk/nightlife-clubbing-bars+bournemouth-bh1/new-era-for-elements-/8441040</link>
			<guid>http://nightlife-clubbing-bars.vivastreet.co.uk/nightlife-clubbing-bars+bournemouth-bh1/new-era-for-elements-/8441040</guid>
<description>Bournemouth’s Elements nightclub is set to receive a £1/2m refurbishment AND a brand new name called Lava &amp; Ignite.

Due to be unveiled on Friday 1st August, Lava &amp; Ignite will reveal a fresh new look in time for the peak of summer with, what managers are calling, ‘one of the biggest parties of the year’! The good news for the venue’s ‘die-hard’ customers is that Elements will remain open right up until the launch of Lava &amp; Ignite.

Located in the heart of Bournemouth, Lava &amp; Ignite is the largest venue in town offering four rooms with four different music genres from Dance/House and Garage to Soul to R&amp;B and Retro – something for everyone.

One of the key new features will be stylish VIP booths designed to give customers an exclusive area for them and their friends for any kind of celebration. Available for hire on different levels from Bronze to Platinum, the booths offer the perfect package for a party. Consisting of white leather seating, Lava &amp; Ignite’s booths look the part and add a new dimension to clubbing in Bournemouth.

General manager, Paul Timm said: “We have come to the end of an era for Elements and now it’s time to inject a fresh new look and name. We are still the busiest venue in town and continue to offer superb entertainment and value for money promotions but, with this investment, we will be able to deliver a service with a polished new look.”

Management say the transformation will be ‘dramatic’ to anyone that has been to the venue before. New carpets, furniture and lighting will combine to create a new image “unrecognisable from the old Elements”, adds Paul.

Also, Lava &amp; Ignite will feature a hot tub in the VIP room. Customers will be able to book this area for the night for them and their friends as a package that comes complete with towels and bar service in a private and exclusive area of the club.

Further information about the launch party will be revealed shortly.

For tickets, visit www.lavaignite.com/bournemouth or call the venue on 01202 311178.

<description>Part of The Great Debate Tenth Anniversary Human Nature Series

What are the connections between mental illness and genetics?

Mental illnesses like autism and schizophrenia appear to have many different causes, some environmental and some seemingly genetic. In this talk Christopher Badcock outlines a new theory that seeks to explain many of the facts in relation to conflict between genes expressed from each parent's copy: so-called genomic imprinting. Not only does this reveal the strange genetics involved in these illnesses and the way environmental factors can mimic them, the new theory also casts a revealing new light on what we take to be normality and has far-reaching implications for our understanding of human nature.

What can computer science tell us about what biological systems do and how they do it? Is it possible to replicate or model those chemical information-processing functions in digital electronic computing systems? What are the implications of recent developments in computer science and software engineering in understanding the nature of causality? Aaron Sloman, author of Computer Revolution in Philosophy: Philosophy, Science and Models of Mind delves into the world of connections between ideas developed in computer science, biology and philosophy, providing new insights into some fundamental questions about the nature of consciousness and free will. <description>LAVA &amp; IGNITE
REVIVED REBORN &amp; RELAUNCHES FRIDAY 15TH AUGUST 2008

Edinburgh’s Lava &amp; Ignite is set to receive a £1m refurbishment to give the club a fresh new look for the summer party season, but customers won’t miss out as the venue will stay open throughout.

A rolling-refurbishment will allow clubbers to witness the progressive change that is said to be ‘completely different’ and feature three very different rooms according to management. For now though, Edinburgh revellers can continue to enjoy the multi-room venue until the official launch on Friday 15th August.

Ignite will be a slick and stylish room featuring the very best of Dance, Indie, Commercial Anthems, and Mainstream Chart/Dance throughout Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The high quality finish is set to attract a more ‘discerning’ clientele that will be open to over 20s on Fridays and Saturdays and Wednesdays &amp; Sundays for Students over 18s. The venue’s third room is an RnB &amp; Hip Hop place for clubbers to experience another popular genre of music.

The stunning new design will offer comfortable seating areas, fresh carpets and state-of-the-art lighting and sound – for the ultimate late night experience.

The revamp will see Lava become a Disco Haven for the over 25s on Fridays and Saturdays. Complete with a Saturday Night Fever dancefloor that lights up with every retro colour imaginable, Lava will play classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s. “This room is for anyone over 25 that wants to escape the younger crowd downstairs, lose their inhibitions and dance the night away to some of the best party tracks from yesteryear”, says general manager Bill McGregor.

Lava &amp; Ignite will cater for Students Over 18s Every Wednesday and Sunday with all three rooms open to explore and find the customers music preference from Indie to RnB.

Bill adds: “We have seen the designs for the venue and there really are some stunning features that will give Lava &amp; Ignite a new injection of energy and desirability for our customers. On top of this, we will bring in top entertainment, great value for money promotions and one of the hottest places in the city.”

Management have confirmed a TV celebrity will open the venue on 15th August but will release their details nearer the time.

For further information or to get VIP tickets, contact the venue on 0131 2283252 or visit www.lavaignite.com/edinburgh

			<description>WESTWOOD CONFIRMED FOR OCEANA

Radio 1 DJ and international superstar, Tim Westwood, is making an exclusive appearance for UKCC at Oceana, Brighton on Tuesday 29th July.

Regarded by many as the most recognised urban DJ of the decade, Westwood, aka ‘The Big Dawg,’ has confirmed he will take over the decks at the under 18s night for a live set.

The multi-award winning rapper has picked up some of the industry’s most prestigious accolades such as the Sony Award for Best Specialist Music Programme in 1990, 1991 and 1994 and he has been voted the Number One Rap DJ by the readers of Hip Hop Connection for the past ten years. In addition, he won the Best Radio Show at the Muzik Magazine Awards 1999. He is also heavily committed to supporting UK talent on the Radio 1 Rap Show and promotes unsigned talent through open mic competitions and showcases.

<description>Hen Parties - Why not do something different before or after the big night out?

Hire me, I'm a male model. I'll travel to you, play a little game to start us off and then I'll teach the session and pose nude for your party to draw. I can supply drawing materials or you can supply your own. Having a nude model can be a big surprise for everyone if organised properly and in secret. I've been doing these sessions during parties for a while now and everyone always talks about what a great time they had and how much fun it is!

I will pose for you to draw and everyone can have a giggle, a drink and a chat as you have a relaxing or hyper drawing session with a fun twist - the choice is yours.

<description>A ‘spectacle’ of art &amp; fashion hosted by Dutch artist Riedstra in collaboration with UK- based artists &amp; designers

Private View: 5th of September - 6 pm to 11 pm
‘Fashion’ Show 5th &amp; 6th of September (TBC) 8pm – 11pm
Exhibition runs from: 5th of September to 25th of September 2008
Gallery Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday: 2.30 pm - 6.30 pm
Last day of exhibition: Thursday 25th of September from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm

&quot;…the distorted image of ideal beauty that is never achievable, though laid-on by the world of the media and advertising.&quot; (Riedstra, 2007)

Riedstra's ‘Barbs Series’ was shown as part of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week, 2007.
The paintings represent the pain and frustration many women feel when they/we aspire to an unattainable and unrealistic standard of beauty as publicised by the media. They speak of the difficulty in present-day society for women to achieve a true and unadulterated identity of themselves because of the pressures to conform to influences around them/us.

Riedstra’s own background is in both art and theatre, both as a performer and behind the scenes. She has studied Mime &amp; Applied Arts in Tel Aviv, Fine Art at the Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague, Netherlands. She studied Scenography at HKU in Utrecht, Netherlands, and the Instituto del Teatro, Seville, and has an MA in Scenography from St Martins, London. She is also a qualified teacher of 2d Art. She has exhibited extensively in each of these countries and was invited to show at the Florence Biennale, 2007.

For the forthcoming ‘Barbs’ show Riedstra invited like-minded artists whose work deals with similar issues relating to the body and distorted identity. Her theatrical background informs her vision for the three week exhibition, featuring fashion shows and performances — promising to be an emotional feast for all the senses, and especially the mind.

			<description>Private View: 22nd of August - 6 pm to 11 pm
Exhibition runs from: 22nd of August to 28th of August 2008
Gallery Opening Hours: Sat, Mon to Wed: 2.30 pm - 6.30 pm
Last day of exhibition: Thursday 28th of August from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm

This exhibition is comprised of artworks that are linked less by a common subject matter or theme than by the search for and refinement of an individual visual language.
The 2D and 3D works, in turn, twist traditional conventions of fine art presentation, offer a lateral understanding of contemporary society and art practice and adopt a Surrealist disruption of the physical properties and practical functions of everyday objects.
The 3D works included, constructed in a wide range of materials (bronze, aluminium, concrete, rubber) employ a blend of paradox, metaphor and a quietly insistent humour that engages the viewer in attaching their own interpretations onto what they are looking at. For example: a ‘rubber frame’ is rendered useless for its intended purpose by its very manifestation.
The self-reflexive ‘frame within a frame’ wall based pieces cannot be accurately defined as paintings; they prompt the viewer to consider the ever-changing function of content within an artwork and demonstrate a balance between image and the object.

“We need to interpret interpretations more than to interpret things.”
				-Michel de Montaigne

Brendan Giles is currently a student at Norwich School of Art and Design. This is his first solo exhibition.

			<description>Dynamic Pro Wrestling
Returns August 30th 2008
At the Ackroyd Street Working Mens Clubs Morley, Leeds

After another blockbuster show last time out, that included a murder suicide, Dynamic Pro Wrestling returns to the Ackroyd Street Working Mens Club on August 30th 2008 with &quot;Built Up Aggression&quot;

We are today happy to reveal the first handful of names to be announced for August 30th

Home Town Hero Cameron Kraze
Home Town Hero Cameron Kraze returns again for some main event Tag Team action. Having previously dispatching Keith Myatt and then facing Bingo Ballance, he has unfortunately been drawn into the tension surrounding Bingo and El Ligero. Hopefully the up coming tag match will end the madness.

The Mexican Sensation El Ligero
El Ligero also makes his return to team with Cameron Kraze in a match almost guaranteed to blow the roof off the building. El Ligero has been plagued by trouble from Bingo Ballance, interfering in both El Ligero's previous matches. El Ligero looks to use this tag match to gain some retribution.

IwW Zero Gravity Champion Bingo Ballance
Bingo Ballance has been causing El Ligero some strife all year. Beating Bubblegum in the first match this year and then turning his attention on El Ligero, Bingo Ballance has proved himself to be nothing but a pest. He will be looking for a much desired win over El Ligero in the upcoming tag match.

Mr. Bad Attitude Martin Kirby
Kirby has again managed to get himself in the middle of others affairs. Starting the year with a victory, Kirby made sure he was on the right side of Bingo when he ran in during El Ligero v Kirby at the last show. Kirby clearly has an eye for trouble as he then tried to do the same thing himself during the main event. This lead to Cameron Kraze and El Ligero issuing the demand for a tag match to right the wrongs.

The Wonderkid Jonny Storm
The Wonderkid makes his return to Dynamic Pro Wrestling after a strong debut in March, narrowly defeating El Ligero. Both competitors showed their appreciation for each other after the match. Can Jonny Storm back up the win with another great performance in August.

The Shooting Star Kris Travis
Kris Travis seems to have gotten himself a cushy position in Dynamic Pro Wrestling, in the pocket of the GM Christopher Brammer. With his sidekick Rainz at ringside, he managed to gain revenge on G-Man at our last show. He then stood idly by while Rainz viciously attacked both the referee and G-Man, under the orders of Christopher Brammer.

Prince Mohmed Ameen
The Prince has had mixed fortune so far. Featuring in 2 titles matches. Firstly the Manson Weight Belt where he lost to a rampant Mad Man Manson, and secondly the 3CW Young Lions Title, where he was more successful and after challenging Kev Rocks retained the title. Its is rumored that the Prince is angry at how things have gone though in Dynamic Pro Wrestling and he wants things to start going his way.

Dragon Aisu
Dragon Aisu has made an impact at Dynamic Pro Wrestling, and o one roster member in particular.. Nathan Irwin. Aisu has made it clear he will do things how and when he wants and doesn't seem to want to play by anyone else's rules. He has recruited himself Matt Slater to help mold in his own way and made an enemy of Nathan Irwin. What does August bring for the Damned Nation member.

More names will be released next week along with more matches.

			<description>SoulParade
@The Barlfy,Camden
Thursday 10th July 2008
Doors:7PM.

Introducing the next phase of British Rock music at its best led by the mighty SoulParade, a cool collective trio, fronted by Daniel Handley on vocals/guitar, Tom Copley on Bass and Fabien Walheim on Drums.

Their chilled out yet piquant approach to an array of genres makes it hard to squeeze this parade onto one defining street.

An indie rock infusion, experimenting with the likes of indie rock, alternative, groove and reggae with echoes of Radiohead, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, even U2 and a touch of Led Zep thrown into their influence behind their great sound and wickedly catchy tunes!

Soul Parade are refreshing to hear, their exuberant attitude is highlighted in forthcoming single tracks such as ‘Untouchable Love’ and ‘Light the fuse’, creating a spark within your musical taste buds. The heavier, driving and poweful nature of their last track, the much acclaimed and political 'Ill Topics' rounds off the offering for the debut EP single

Signed to Out of Bounds Music, with Paul Handley as their innovative executive producer and manager bringing this new raw talent to the masses. With the North of England holding onto the indie reigns tightly, Soul Parade originating from North London are finally about to buck the trend and are definately a band set to take over, with songs that will reach millions!

Releasing their much anticipated first EP in September, it is clear that Soul Parade will have the girls in a fluster and create an unforgettable and untouchable stir within the industry.

Check out their MySpace to marvel at their sound from demos of two of the songs which are being re-recorded for the single. Or even better see them playing Filming will be taking place for DVD material! We look forward to seeing you there!

Make sure you join us and watch history in the making one more time at The Barfly!

Congress Theatre, Eastbourne

Beethoven Overture, Leonore 3
Mozart Violin Concerto 5 in A, K219 (Turkish)
Dvorak Symphony 8

Simon Streatfeild conductor
Kolbjorn Holthe violin

'The crown of Dvorak's work' and 'one of the considerable achievemtns of symhonic literature' are both critical descriptions not of Dvorak's famous Ninth Symphony, but its immediate predecessor, the Eighth, with its infectious finale fashioned as a pot-pourri of Czech folk tunes. So insistent was Beethoven that his Overture to the opera Fidelio be admired for its perfection that he re-wrote it four times, eventually settling on this exquisitely crafted version, heard before Mozart's sublime fifth and final Violin Concerto.

			<description>Paintings Textiles Sculptures Jewellery
The theme of the exhibition at Enigma Gallery One is RED. There will be a wide range of inspired artwork focusing on the use of recycled materials. ReCreation Studio is an eclectic group of artists/designers established in 2006 that meet together weekly at the Green Shop in Oxton Village or at each other’s studios, to enjoy experimenting with creative ideas.

Some work has a specific objective: fabric samples are designed and sent to Paris and Japan for exhibition at Textile and Fashion Shows. Artifacts are made for local events such as Oxton Secret Gardens and the Williamson Art Gallery, Birkenhead. Members of the group exhibit independently, nationally and internationally in diverse contexts.

Other work is just done for the sheer joy of experimenting with materials: using a variety of media, painting, working with wire, mosaic, sculpture, dyeing, felting, embellishing and hand/machine embroidery.

Recycling materials, manipulating fabric and sharing inspiration is at the heart of the ReCreation Studio.
Meet the artists at the Gallery on Monday 7th July 2008 between 6 – 8pm, where there will be live music and refreshments.

ReCreation Studio are: Alison Bailey Smith, Anne Raftery, Carole Cecchini, Deana Hurley, Hilda Kiernan, Jackie Hannen, Jakki Davies, Judith Brown, Judith Smith, Pam Blake, Stella Jones, Su Chacewicz, Vanessa Ryall.

<title>Bolton Castle Ghost Hunt with Phil Whyman &amp; Richard Felix</title>

<description>Bolton Castle is regarded by many as one of Lancashire's most haunted.
It is a medieval fortress which has a long and colourful history dating back to the late 1300's, when it was constructed by the then Lord Chancellor Richard Le Scrope (it is still owned by his descendants!). The castle is of a quadrangular shape.
In 1644 during the Civil War Bolton Castle was besieged by Parliamentary troops and parts of the castle were damaged during fighting, but most of it remains and can still be seen today. Among other notable episodes in the history of Bolton Castle is the fact that Mary, Queen of Scots was held prisoner here in Queen Elizabeth I's reign. She was later moved closer to London, eventually being beheaded.

HAUNTINGS &amp; ACTIVITY
As with many castles in the UK, Bolton Castle has its fair share of reported ghosts and paranormal activity.

Mary, Queen of Scots
There are not many ghosts who have clocked up the impressive mileage that Mary, Queen of Scots would appear to have to her name - she must be one of the most widely reported spectres within the UK.
Mary was imprisoned here - along with an impressive array of servants - during the reign of Elizabeth I, and many believe that she still visits from time to time. It is believed that the ghostly form of Mary haunts the courtyard at Bolton Castle and has been seen a number of times, as well as in several other areas of the castle itself. Will she put in an appearance for us tonight?

The Stables
Many a strange incident has been reported from this area of the castle. Feelings of oppression and depression have been sensed here, as well as feelings of sickness. People have complained of cold-spots in this area, as well as experiencing light anomalies and battery drain. What - or who - is at the heart of these unexplained incidents?

Other paranormal activity
Other paranormal activity reported from in and around the castle are:

Shadowy figures
Cold-spots
Light anomalies
Unexplained feelings
Battery drain
Poltergeist activity

JOIN Most Haunted stars Phil Whyman, Richard Felix and the DHN team as together we investigate the strange incidents of Bolton Castle.
During the event you will be looked after by our highly experienced team leaders - all of whom have spent years within the paranormal field.
You will have the chance to take part in seances, glass divination and other paranormal experiments - participation optional.

Exhibition runs from: 8th to 21st of August 2008
Gallery Opening Hours: Fri, Sat, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs: 2.30 pm - 6.30 pm
Last day of the exhibition:	Thursday 21st from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm

“Cow’s blood, the Bible and Madonna” are all brought together in a controversial artwork series to be unveiled in central London at Red Gate Gallery, as part of an exhibition to celebrate Madonna’s 50th birthday.

Artist Rush Ounvises, one of the main contributors to the exhibition, whose sixteen paintings include some of the most bizarre objects ever put together, sais:

“This show, ‘Madonna: Mother Of The Universe’, aims to pay an homage to the world’s biggest and most controversial icon in a no holds barred attitude. We wanted to epitomise her edgy individuality and her extreme personality,”

Sexual politics, religion and a sense of rebelliousness are all present in the variety of portrait paintings, photographs, graffiti and multimedia installations, described as “The Post Pop Art” by the artist group ‘The NuBrits’:

“Think Andy Warhol meets Damien Hirst on a subject as unique and complex as Madonna.” (Rush 2007)

The exhibition will be held in August, its opening night intended to coincide with the date of Madonna’s actual birthday.

<description>COOLEST PLACE IN TOWN SET TO GET HOTTER

The award-winning Oceana in Milton Keynes is undergoing a £2m makeover that will create a new six-room experience, which is scheduled to open on Friday 22nd August.

The venue’s former Ice House and Ski Lodge have been redesigned to create a new style 1000 capacity Reykjavik Ice House, which will feature a stark white interior, white leather seating areas, 360 degree video projection, a stage area and state of the art sound and lighting.

Another key feature to the new Ice House will be three luxurious VIP Suites, available for private hire for that special occasion. These exclusive suites can cater for parties of up to 20 people and they offer a private bar, leather seating, plasma TV and private waitressing, while overlooking the Icehouse dancefloor.

An entirely new addition to the three floor venue will be the private VIP room; a classy bar providing the perfect atmosphere to relax in with a glass of the club’s finest champagne. The glass-fronted area will feature complete luxury and will only be open at the manager’s discretion.

The ‘seductive’ and ’sexy’ Parisian Boudoir – one of the venue’s most popular rooms - will undergo a complete refit and relocation. The refurbishment also introduces two new destinations - a Russian themed bar and also downstairs will be the Rhythm Room. This chilled out bar will feature a live DJ, dance floor and become one of the funkiest bars in town.

General manager, Mark Molton said: “A lot of the features in the refurbishment have been created in response to customer feedback. Customers often request reserved seated areas - we will have nine booths available for reservation in the Ice House. Our VIP’s &amp; WAG’s requested their own bar – we have designed a stunning and exclusive VIP bar. Our customers wanted to see more live personal appearances – so a stage area has been included in the design. Even the new downstairs bar has been created to give our smokers a room to party and comfortably pop out to have a cigarette.”

Work on the three-month project has already begun, however, Oceana’s New York Disco room will continue to trade as normal while the

Milton Keynes was the first Oceana to open in the UK and the brand has since developed considerably now boasting 11 across the country with a further two opening in 2008. As a vote of confidence in Milton Keynes, the management team are delighted that parent company, Luminar Leisure, are further investing to ensure Oceana remains at the forefront of design, technology and customer experience.

Mark ads: “The most important message to customers is that we’re still open and it is business as usual. This is going to be a very exciting development for Milton Keynes and with the new Icehouse we will be able bring back the days and atmosphere of a large capacity room.”

FUNharmonics Family Concert Musical Menagerie

Stravinsky The Firebird Suite (excerpts)
Stephen McNeff The Tale of Peter Rabbit (from Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit and his Friends in the Orchestra)
Matthew Hindson Dangerous Creatures (world premiere)

David Angus conductor
Chris Jarvis presenter

Join us for a musical menagerie featuring animals big, small, cute and ferocious! Mr McGregor from Beatrix Potter’s Tale of Peter Rabbit certainly has an affection for ‘birds and fishes and beasties’– particularly when they’re served up on a plate! This enchanting musical version of the story by Stephen McNeff rubs shoulders with a rather more inedible feathered creature, Stravinsky’s spectacularly powerful Firebird. But beware of the prowling beasts that are waiting in the wings courtesy of Matthew Hindson, whose new work Dangerous Creatures is sure to scare, delight and enthral!

This concert will last for about an hour.

Dangerous Creatures has been commissioned by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Foyer Events throughout the morning
You can try your hand at playing an orchestral instrument in one of our Have-a-Go sessions, get your face painted or learn circus skills – all in the foyers before and after the performance.

<description>2Koustics Live At The Squirrel Friday 4th July.

Great music, wit and repartee plus the great atmosphere and beer at the Squirrel, Church Street, Rugby.

The music starts and 9.00pm but why not do what the boys in 2Koustics do and start a little early.... maybe lunchtime!

Here's a few press cuttings about the chaps.

‘NORFOLK ACOUSTIC NEWS’
2Koustics has the audience mesmerised as they squabbled over the pink plectrum.

‘NORTH EAST WHAT’S ON’
Following Martin’s consumption of six pints, Andy gently reminded him that G major was not on the fourth fret….a fine display of musical companionship.

‘DEVONSHIRE MUSIC WEEK’
Following complete revulsion from audiences across eleven gigs, 2Koustics have discarded the one piece spandex cat suits and returned to jeans.

'RUGBY SOUNDBITE'
Andy's expert finger style technique and Martin's rapid flat picking could only be improved had they been playing the same tune.

‘ESSEX ABOUT TOWN’
The audience unanimously rose to their feet after the first number but the promoter assured everyone would get a full refund.

‘THE LONDON EAR’
Andy launched himself into the air mistaking the crèche for the mosh pit. Thankfully the parents agreed to settle out of court as no bones were broken, just the plastic tray on a kiddie’s high chair.

‘JAZZ AND WORLD WEEKLY’
Martin’s bizarre chords and discordant counter harmony was not the result of studying Stockhausen, he’d just forgotten to tune his guitar.
Andy admitted that Stockhausen and Waterman were his favourite producers.

			<description>Haunted Theatre
Morecambe Winter Gardens has seen many a face come and go throughout its history, and it appears that some of those associated with the building have not quite gone altogether. There are numerous reports of strange incidents happening at what is reputedly one of the most haunted buildings within Lancashire, including:

Phantom Footsteps
The sounds of phantom footsteps have been heard by staff and workers alike at the building, coming from areas where there is nobody present.
Knocks and Bangs
Unexplained bangs and knocks have been heard throughout the building, and upon inspection no cause could ever be found.
Physical Contact
There have been reports that workers, staff and visitors to the building have been touched and pushed by unseen spectral hands.
The Haunted Staircase
The spirit of a woman has been picked up on the main staircase. It is thought that during an argument with her partner she either fell or was pushed down the stairs where she died.
Poltergeist Activity
Poltergeist activity would appear to be rife at the Morecambe Winter Gardens theatre - is this perhaps the bad side of the ghosts, or merely a playful spirit?
The singing ghost
During a visit to the Winter Gardens by the 'Most Haunted' team the sound of a woman singing was heard, as well as that of what could only be described as a growling dog.

Join Phil Whyman and the Dead Haunted team as together we investigate the ghosts of Morecambe Winter Gardens, Lancashire.

During the event you will have the opportunity to take part in seances, glass divination and other paranormal experiments (participation is optional). The use of investigation equipment is also provided, along with a brief demonstration by Phil Whyman.
